Azerbaijan to grant Moldova $1 million for overcoming the drought consequences. Azerbaijan is about to make a donation of $1 million as a financial relief for overcoming the difficulties in the rural economy. Saturday the Prime Minister Vasilii Tarlev was told it by his Azerbaijan colleague Arthur Rasi-Zade.
Arthur Rasi-Zade mentioned that the Ministry cabinet’s decision to help was made in response to the appeal of Moldovan authorities to the international community in view of the unexampled drought of this summer. Earlier Kishinev was responded by Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, China, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Holland, Austria, Italy, Russia, Germany, and France. On Tuesday in Moldova will be completed the mission of Food and Agriculture Organization OOH (FAO), which will prepare a report on the Moldova’s losses because of the draught and present it to the international organizations and donating countries.
