Moldavian national football team beat Latvia team in away match

Moldavian national football team beat the Latvia team on the 22 of august during an unofficial match in Riga with the score 2-1.

Moldavian goals were scored by Viorel Frunze (22), Vitalie Bordian (53). The home team scored their goal on the 31 minute of the match. The ball was kicked into the goal by Astafiev.

Moldavian team had the following composition: Sergey Pascenko (Nikolae Kalancia,46), Alexander Iepureanu, Viktor Komlenok (Simion Bulgaru, 66), Ghenadie Olexici, Radu Rebeja, Sergey Namashko, Denis Zmeu (Igor Tsigirlash, 63), Alexandru Gatskan (Andrei Korneenkov, 46), Vitalie Bordian (Anatol Dorosh, 65), Sergey Rogaciov (Igor Bugaev, 46), Viorel Frunze.

Most of Moldavian sportsmen came to Riga a couple of hours before the match, that variant was more economical and convenient.

The match took place at the Skonto stadium in front of around 4 500 spectators. Tat was the first one in the whole history of matches between the teams of Moldova and Latvia.

The national team is going to have a match in Kishinev on the 8 of September and two away matches on the 12 of September with the national team of Norway and the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
