Baku–Kishinev axis is strong and reliable

The name of Isfandiar Vagabadze is known to all Azerbaijanians that live in Moldova and also to its political figures. Mister Vagabadze – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan in Moldova, doctor of Science in philology, lecturer and author of many books. In his conversation with deputy editor-in-chief Victor Voscoboinic he noted among other things: “For me Moldova is a wonderful land and country, friendly to Azerbaijan. Our people have a lot in common: temperament, diligence, benevolence, and hospitality.

As to economic relations, we have a lot of work here in Moldova. An Azerbaijan company is building a dwelling house in the Chiocana district. There is also an agreement that our geologists will search the oilfields in Moldova.

The prescient and wise politics of our countries’ presidents – Ilham Aliev and Vladimir Voronin – provide for the economic development of Azerbaijan and Moldova, and this, in turn, serves to guarantee political stability.”
