Infinity through the tradition

The group „The heirs” from the TL „M. Sadoveanu” from Kishinev under the direction of the master in arts Valeriu Chiper celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Since its foundation the children’s ethno-folk ensemble „The heirs” has the aim of valorization of the popular traditions in all geographical zones of Moldova, respectively – vocal, instrumental, and choreographic repertory, but first of all, in the southern zone – the motherland of Valeriu Chiper.

The collective accentuates in a special way the scenic movement, everything that has secular value – mythology, our tradition. They managed to realize splendid plays, inspired by the ritual. We can find the richest traditions and customs of winter in their repertory. There are about 350 secular and religious carols and popular theatre in their collection.
